An almost all-male hermetic order, based in Frankfurt, AGS. They have a number of corporate sponsors, and branches in many prominent magical university cities, drawing recruits from the schools. They take their namesake’s fate as a warning, not to make deals with powers beyond their control, but there are rumors of an inner circle of “True Faustians” who seek to do the opposite in the pursuit of greater power and knowledge.

The great dragon Kaltenstein has supposedly gained access to (and influence over) the highest levels of the Society through a series of well-placed loyal agents.
